It's hard to believe that my (our) 9 lb 11 oz baby boy started kindergarten 11 days ago. Where has the time gone? I know this seems very cliché but I truly have no idea how we got to this place....two boys in school and what has turned into a rather awkward (and bit lonely) feeling during my days. Don't get me wrong, I find stuff to do...which usually involves meal-worms, night crawlers, and cricket patrol. Did I mention that Harry and Hank both have new pets that eat living insects? And, both of them thoroughly enjoy “creating” habitats for these critters in various, interesting places.
Hank is our comedian, our lovebug, our little “Hank the Tank” …. he was my constant sidekick up until August 25, 2011. I'm excited to see where life takes him – he is a mini-me of his daddy and I know he will continue to make those around him smile and laugh, that's just what he does :)
Hank's quotes of the week:
“Mom, did you know I eat lunch in the bacteria and my school is run by a princess?”
When I asked Hank why he received the dreaded yellow sticker (one step away from a visit to the principal) his response, “ I had a very hard day, mom! I don't want to go back to Stoney Point (Elementary school) ever again! You can't even laugh or play in the bathroom!!”
I love that little guy.
